Our founder, V G Prasanna Jegatha, has carried a dream since childhood: to become a fashion designer. That dream was noticed early by her mother, who not only encouraged her but also guided her to pursue her passion. With that support, she studied fashion design and entered the industry with determination and vision.

Over the past 20 years, she has worked with renowned fashion houses and industry leaders, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the world of fashion. But alongside the glamour, she also witnessed the darker side of the industry — its over-reliance on fast fashion, its harmful environmental impact, and the neglect of the very artisans who give fashion its soul.

This awareness became the driving force behind Jegadhnis.
